South Downs Summer Music Festival

A series of concerts are coming to St Andrews Church again this Summer and should not be missed.

Running from 23 to 27 July, evening concerts start at 7.30pm with a complimentary pre-concert G&T on the tye with every ticket, supported by Folkington’s.

23 July: Alfriston Ensemble and Matthew Gee on trombone (£16)

24 July: Melvyn Tan on piano and Benyounes Quartet (£16)

25 July: ‘The Mozart Question’ Author/narrator Michael Morpurgo with Alison Reid acting; Daniel Pioro on violin and Benyounes quartet (£20)

26 July: Messiaen ‘Quartet for the end of time’ with Julian Bliss on clarinet; Jeremy Young on piano, Jonian Ilias Kadesha on violin and Petr Prause on cello (£16)

27 July: Folk night - Leveret and Jackie Oates with John Spiers (£16)

27 July 3pm: Church of the Good Shepherd, Lullington Microconcert (please note this is the only concert not at St Andrew’s Church in Alfriston)

28 July 3pm: SDSM Resident String Quartet - The Annexus Quartet
